The album “Heavy Luggage” will be released in October by OfTheRecords. The music is produced by André Viervoll at Parachute Studio, and mastered at Propeller Mastering. OffTheRecords is a record label based in Oslo.

Working with some paintings and looking out from his window at Grünerløkka, Richard Nygaard was inspired to write the song A Public Park. The song explores how everyday life in an urban park can change sad memories into a beautiful experience.

The band consists of singer-songwriter Richard Nygård (vocals and guitar) and Morten Minothi (double bass). Additional musicians on the album: Kjetil Strømme (keyboards), Øystein Bergsvik (drums) and Eivind Norseng (mandolin, electric guitar and acoustic guitar).

Til vanlig arbeider Richard Nygaard i sitt atelie på Grynerløkka ved Olav Ryes plass. Det var fra vinduet sitt han ble inspirert til å skrive sangen A Public Park, som utforsker hvordan hverdagslivet i en park kan forandre triste minner til vakre erfaringer.

Bandet består av singer-songwriter Richard Nygård (vokal og gitar) og Morten Minothi (kontrabass). På albumet spiller i tillegg Kjetil Strømme (keyboard), Øystein Bergsvik (trommer) og Eivind Norseng (lapsteel, mandolin, elgitar og kassegitar).
